If you’re a customer of one of our partner water companies or local authorities, you may be eligible for a Free Water Saving Visit designed to help you save water, reduce energy use and lower your utility bills.
The visit is quick, simple and carried out by one of our trained Control Flow engineers. During the appointment we check your water flow rates, provide advice on saving water, and where appropriate install our HL2024® water-saving devices.
Most visits take between 20 and 45 minutes, and the service is completely free for eligible households.

The Benefits
Our devices regulate the flow of water, reducing wastage caused by fluctuations in pressure and flow throughout the day within the mains system. With less fluctuations, this reduces the amount of water coming out of your tap, with no noticeable difference in water pressure!
How does saving water save energy? Water needs to be treated, pumped and, in many cases, heated before it reaches your taps. Using less water therefore reduces the energy needed to provide it.

Here’s what to expect on the day of your appointment
During the Free Water Saving Visit our Engineer will first test the flow rates at the property, check the water meter chamber (if you have one), locate the stopcock and inspect the property for signs of any minor leaks.
Our expert Engineer will recommend the most suitable Control Flow device for your property. Our engineer will ask for your consent to install a water-saving device into your home or business.
If suitable, our engineer will proceed to install the appropriate Control Flow device that day and, if possible, even fix any minor leaks.
Rest assured, they will clean up after themselves, leaving your property the way they found it.
Once the installation is completed, our Engineer will explain the work done and ensure you are 100% satisfied with the work carried out.
