RESA student residences own eight residences in Seville, Granada, and Barcelona that have more than 1,900 showers and 3,000 sinks. The goal was to enhance their efficiency and sustainability in water usage.
In this case, Control Flow HL2024® Showersmart at 7.8 L/min was chosen for handheld showers, along with other technologies for sinks.
It was estimated that water consumption was reduced by approximately 40% in showers and 60% in sinks. Additionally, by using less hot water, significantly less energy is needed. Therefore, a double saving was achieved.
